So my buddy Rod Collins allowed me to borrow his Canon 17-40 f/4 L series lens for the weekend to try it out. He loves that lens, and now I can see why! I didn’t waste any time so I took to the backyard with ‘Kota for her favorite pastime – wranglin’ that frisbee! She absolutely loves that thing, and once she catches it, she bucks around and trots a victory lap after each successful catch! She’s so funny to watch! Here’s a few shots showcasing that nice 17mm wide angle and the acrobatic antics of my pup.

I love her superman prance in this picture! When she’s really excited, she prances around in these kind of hops!

You can almost hear her say, “ARGH! I missed!”

Just before Christmas I got the privilege of meeting up with these two adorable pups! Abby is a black 13 year old terrier mix just full of personality and spunk, and her brother Herschel is a beautiful chocolate lab with a brotherly playful attitude and excitement! These guys were great to work with, and you can tell their owners Mark & Alyssa absolutely love them! Here are some of the great shots we got that late-fall afternoon!
